Troubleshooting
In short
Find what you're seeing below. Each answer starts with the most likely cause. SendPath AI's Audit my workspace also finds most of these for you.
Nothing is sending
Open the campaign. The note under its header says why it's waiting. Check, in order:
- Its status is Running. Draft means it was never launched; Blocked means a gate check failed.
- It's inside its schedule now. New campaigns send Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, in the workspace's timezone.
- Its start date, if it has one, has passed.
- Its mailboxes aren't Blocked, and haven't used their daily cap today.
- The plan has emails left this month.
Sending is slower than expected
That's usually by design. A campaign sends no more than the smallest of these allows:
- each mailbox's daily cap (and about 30 campaign emails a day per mailbox is what keeps it out of spam);
- the time gap each mailbox waits between emails;
- the campaign's daily limit and max new leads per day;
- its schedule's hours.
Mailboxes whose warm-up mail lands in spam send half (under 80% in the inbox) or nothing (under 60%). To send more, add mailboxes. See How many mailboxes you need.
My campaign is Blocked
A gate check failed. Click Launch to see each failing check and its fix, or ask SendPath AI Why is this blocked?. After fixing, click Launch again. See The pre-send gate and Messages explained.
My campaign paused by itself
The note on the campaign says which of these happened:
- every mailbox on it was blocked (often for bounces);
- the plan's emails for the month ran out;
- the trial ended, or a payment failed more than 7 days ago;
- its stop date passed.
Fix the cause, then click Resume. The gate runs again.
My emails land in spam
- Fix every DNS check on Senders. Set up DNS
- Keep warm-up running until the mailbox is Ready, and keep it on after. Warm-up
- Send fewer emails per mailbox. Spread the volume over more mailboxes and domains.
- Turn off open and link tracking.
- Follow Inbox readiness: fewer links and images, a short plain subject, personal first lines. Writing emails that get replies
Lots of bounces
The list has dead addresses. Stop sending to it, re-verify it, and remove old contacts. Over 5% stops the mailbox; see When a mailbox is stopped for bounces. Bounced addresses are already suppressed.
A mailbox is Blocked
Open it on Senders. Why this sender isn't fully healthy names the reason: a rejected login (replace the password or reconnect), a failing SPF record (fix SPF), or bounces over 5%(re-verify, then Resume sending).
I can't connect a mailbox
- Gmail and Yahoo need an app password, and Gmail needs 2-Step Verification on first.
- Google Workspace: your admin may need to allow third-party access, or connect the mailbox for you.
- Other providers: check the SMTP and IMAP server settings with your provider. Some need IMAP switched on.
Warm-up isn't sending
Warm-up sends during working hours in the workspace's timezone, and less at weekends. A mailbox that's Paused, On hold or Blocked doesn't send. Campaign emails come first within the daily cap, so a mailbox at its cap has no room left for warm-up.
Replies aren't showing up
Check the mailbox has no Reply-to pointing elsewhere (Replies warns you when one does) and that its reading connection works on Senders. Sync mailboxes on Replies reads them right away.
A contact wasn't emailed
The campaign's Contacts tab shows each contact's state. Skipped means a check failed at send time: the address is suppressed, unverified or invalid, or a variable the email uses has no value for them.
I can't see a page or button
Your access doesn't include it. An owner can change it in Settings, under Members. See What each kind of access allows.
I keep getting signed out
SendPath signs you out after 12 hours without activity. A passkey makes signing back in one tap.
