Workspaces and team

In short

A workspace holds one company's mailboxes, lists, campaigns and team, with its own plan. Agencies use one per client; everyone else usually needs one.

Workspaces

  • The workspace menu in the sidebar switches between your workspaces, and Add a workspace (or Add a client) creates one.
  • Each workspace has its own plan, mailboxes, lists, suppressions and members. Nothing is shared between them.
  • A mailbox connected in two workspaces warms up in only one of them.

Workspace settings

Settings holds the workspace's name, website, timezone and postal address, its plan and billing, its members and notifications. Nothing in Settings can get past the pre-send gate.

Postal address
Required. It fills {{physical_address}} in every email, and no campaign starts without it.
Timezone
Used for campaign schedules, sending windows, warm-up hours and the daily counts.

The account menu (your first name at the bottom of the sidebar) has Profile, Settings, Workspace, and Get help, which opens these docs.

Invite your team

  1. Step 1: In Settings, under Members, enter one or more email addresses.
  2. Step 2: Pick their access (below), and send the invite.
  3. Step 3: They get an email with a link to join. If it doesn't arrive, Resend emails a new link and the old one stops working.

Every plan has unlimited members.

What each kind of access allows

Owner
Everything, including billing, members, removing suppressions, the gate policy and deleting the workspace.
Full access
Everything except what stays with owners: members, billing and deleting the workspace.
Standard
Day-to-day work: campaigns, templates, contacts, verification, replies, adding suppressions and SendPath AI. Not mailboxes, warm-up, removing suppressions or the gate policy.
View only
Sees everything and changes nothing. Good for clients.

An owner can also pick a member's permissions one by one, with Change what they can do.

Sending for clients? Give each client their own workspace and invite them with View only. See the Guide for agencies.

Notifications

The bell at the top of every page shows what needs fixing now and what happened in the last 7 days. See all notifications opens the Notifications page: 30 days, by day, with a filter for each kind. Opening either one marks everything as seen, on every device you use.

In Settings, under Notifications, choose for each kind whether it shows in your bell and whether it's emailed. The choices are yours alone, in this workspace, and you only see the kinds your access covers.

  • Emails come from notifications@sendpath.ai to the address you sign in with.
  • Right-away emails go out at most every 10 minutes per workspace. Problems that happen together arrive in one email.
  • The daily email comes at 08:00 in the workspace's timezone, and only when something happened. It's off until you turn on email for a kind.
  • What needs fixing always shows in the bell. It can't be turned off.

If something's wrong

A teammate can't see a page or a button.
Their access doesn't include it. An owner can change it in Settings, under Members.
The invite link doesn't work.
It may have expired or been replaced. Use Resend on the invite to email a fresh one.
