Guide for agencies

In short

Give each client their own workspace: their mailboxes, lists, campaigns and plan stay apart from everyone else's, and you switch between them in one click.

Set up a client

  1. Step 1: Open the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar and click Add a client (or Add a workspace). Choose A client.
  2. Step 2: Choose the client's plan. Each workspace has its own plan and billing; the free trial comes with your first workspace only. See Plans and billing.
  3. Step 3: Connect the client's mailboxes and set up their domain's DNS. See Connect a mailbox and Set up your domain.
  4. Step 4: Add the client's postal address in that workspace's Settings: it goes in every email sent for them.
  5. Step 5: Invite the client with View only, so they can follow results without changing anything. Home's checklist offers this step for client workspaces. See Invite your team.

Keep clients apart

  • Send each client's campaigns from their own domain and mailboxes. Bounces and spam reports then only ever touch that client's reputation.
  • Suppressions are per workspace: one client's unsubscribes never block another client's sending.
  • A mailbox warms up in one workspace only. Connect each mailbox in the workspace of the client it sends for.
  • Connect your AI connects one workspace at a time; connect it again to ask about another client. See What it can see.

Your team across clients

A teammate can belong to several workspaces, with different access in each: Standard for the clients they run, View only elsewhere. Owners decide in each workspace's Settings, under Members. See What each kind of access allows.

If something's wrong

A client can see a button they shouldn't use.
Change their access to View only in that workspace's Settings, under Members.
A new client workspace asks for a plan straight away.
The free trial comes with your first workspace only. Each later workspace chooses its plan when it's created.
